Lessie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who provides Clinical supervisor and consultation services in San Diego County. Lessie received a bachelor degree in Sociology with an emphasis in counseling, a Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and a Masters degree in Public Administration. She began her experience in the Behavior Analysis in 2008, providing direct therapeutic services to individuals with ASD and intellectual disabilities. Lessie has provided direct therapeutic service and Clinical Supervision in a variety of settings including home, clinic, school, and community. She also provides consultation services to an adult day program and supported living services.
Over the course of her career, she has provided Behavior Analysis services to children, adolescents and adults with a variety of diagnosis including ASD, Intellectual disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder/Attention Deficit Hypertension Disorder (ADD/ADHD) , Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), Sensory processing disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and individuals with co-morbid diagnosis. She also specializes in a variety of areas including Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT), Pivotal Response Training (PRT), verbal behavior, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), social skills training/social groups, Functional Assessment and parent training.
Lessie's main goals are to empower individuals with developmental/behavioral/ social emotional disorders, equip their families with the tools to support their loved ones and educate their communities. Lessie is tri-lingual, she has provided Behavior Analysis services in Haiti and also has a great interest in consulting in other Latin American countries.
